SMK, the taillamps are smoked, they look like black when the lights are not lit up, but when one presses the brakes, the visibility is adequate to be spotted.
Have a look at this thread-
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...ail-lamps.html

BTW, the 'Limited Edition' above the Honda badge looks funny!
My whole point of putting this one up was to point out that the tail lamps were not "Smoked" they were "Painted" pitch black. Even if you light a focus light from them, I am sure not a single ray of light would come out

Presenting the BAJAJ SUV...

P.S: Note the height of the 'antennae'.

Did he want it to be flashy or stealth?

I think he was planning for a bat-mobile touch. I wouldn't do that to mine.

This makes me think that no matter how great cars you get , one always wants to personalise it no matter how bad your creativity may be. I pity.

Thats by far the most wierd and wacky alloy wheels I have seen. Wonder where such things are available. Just like its carved out of a steel dinner plate.
Nope i fail to see anything inappropriate in these wheels . They look really good and far far batter than the stock.

What on earth could this Model T knock-off be based on?

Before jumping to conclusions that it's based on a MM540 chassis, dont forget it's LHD

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

That is indeed wierd. MM540 could have been used to make a wonderful jeep.

Left hand drive is put up like a banner .

What a miserable waste of a great car. The MM540 could have been a much better mod.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Saw this Lancer near the Ascendas campus in Hitec city. Not sure if it has been posted earlier. Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, I was driving and taking pictures at the same time

The front was a normal Lancer but the rear looks like it was modified to have Accord tail lights. There is also the customary cloth hanger spoiler. And there is also a wannabe cool slogan printed at the back.

He waxed his car non-stop for days on end and then poured mercury on the hood to check for beading.

Result, you can see.
