Some of the flashing sequences are akin to the strobes used on unmarked police/other emergency vehicles of some countries.

Wouldn't do much here as even local buses use LEDs that flash red & blue!

Strobe light flashers or what ever they are called are readily and easily available. You just need to connect one in the DRL circuit. These flasher units come with various flashing modes as seen in the video.

At 1st look the Mercedes Alloys look completely innocuous and nothing seems to be out of place:

However what are they doing on a SKODA LAURA?

Could you share the URL if they are available on ebay ?

I want to install a LED rear light ( the red in the center of the rear bumper) on my swift and want to make it blink like F1 stop light.

For this all you need is a turn signal flasher from any two wheeler. Just connect this flasher unit to the rear fog light circuit.

Vikram, the ones in the video are not using red and blue colors, which can be confused with law-enforcement or emergency vehicles. Any idea, if these would be considered legal in India?

They look interesting and could be useful in an emergency situation.

Sorry for the OT on this thread.

Well my guess is that red & blue may be considered illegal, but not white. For all you know we may not even have rules regarding white flashing lights on a private vehicle.

May not be good looking but I would call it a purposeful mod if the vehicle articulates well. It would be even better if he gets a full roll cage
