With the 11.11 sales coming up on Aliexpress and Gearbest, what are some of the things that BHPians have wishlisted for purchase?

I am looking for the following :

1. An OBD reader
2. Hardwiring kit for Yi dashcam
3. A box of fuses (should I go for a mixed set with micro, mini and normal or a set of micro only)
4. A box of crimping tools
5. A box of heat shrink tubes
6. Two boot organizer boxes (one for a small car's boot and one for a MUV - will be used to store spare wiper fluid, coolant, emergency engine oil, duster and wipes)
7. Door open reflective stickers
8. Good quality LED lights for interior roof dome, license plate and fender indicators
9. A cheap dashcam as rear cam
10. Analog clock on the dash
11. Boot loading lip protector

Not links but here are their screenshots. A huge list with some duplicates / similar products and ultimately I will chicken out and buy only a few... I hope (for the sake of my finances). Else perpetual credit card debt will continue!

Got these 'wireless car steering wheel button remote control' as they are called for the car's AVN system. I have been using them for past 6 months and they haven't disappointed.


These are very simple to install, if the AVN system has the provision for adding the steering wheel remote buttons. The AVN I paired them with was more than 4 years old and running on Win CE. New ones are sure to have the support for steering wheel buttons.
Wire the adapter or the receiver box to the AVN, attach the remotes to the steering wheel, pair the buttons with the AVN and voila, you have steering mounted AVN control buttons and on a budget ($19) as simple as it gets. Who wouldn't want these?

1. The bundle includes the 2 remotes, the receiver box, wires, nuts and screws.


One remote key has audio controls and the other has the controls for the Phone, Input Mode, GPS, and Band.


2. Attach the remotes to the steering wheel.


I cut off the clamps and used 3M VHB tape to install these on the steering wheel cover. They didn't give up in the severely hot summer temperatures, so I believe they won't fall anytime soon.




3. Go to the AVN settings and pair the buttons.


They are available in various shapes, sizes and forms as well.

Haven't noticed any lag so far maybe once the battery becomes low it would start lagging. No problems with any of the operations till now.

Probably not. Only way to check that would be to see if it has any wires labelled as remote 1 & 2 or Key 1 & Key 2. You may also go into the settings to check if there is any option given for key bindings, like in AVN system I am using there is a tab in settings labelled as 'Wheel'.

Have purchased one of these as well. My plan is to attach it permanently at the side panel between the front and second rows seats. Once successful, I will buy one more and fix it on the other side as well.

Reason: In case the car topples off on one side then one of them would be useful. And secondly in case of any accident, there may be panic in the cabin. This product would be easily accessible to any member passenger inside the car. If it is kept in an drawer, dashboard etc., then I think it may not solve its purpose 100%.

Please advise where you intend to place them?
