Rear view mirror, auto metre, wheels, exhaust, exterior lining, even the Rickshaw starting handle bar (I don't know what it's called exactly) are all made of chrome!

MODS: Not sure why the pictures are tilted. Have observed, this happens when a pic is clicked at portrait mode.

A chap in my building too bought an elite i20, I was happy to see no chrome on it the day one, Only the next day i found out he got all the chrome at every possible place

Next on the target of the chrome mesh fellas will be Honda Activas, Dios, Suzuki Access, TVS Jupiter and all those scooters where such grilles can be fitted.

And no, they cannot be of metal due to the costs. It will be plastic with the coated metallic shine, breakable, replaceable and a good source of income for the manufacturers.

This one looks way too flimsy, has fair chances of breaking apart one or the other when this guy washes his car.
He has spoilt the looks of that otherwise elegant, clean and premium front end of the Creta.

The choice is absolutely individual. I personally do not like anything bling. Each to his own.

Where can one get a car dechromed in Bangalore? Looking to get grill, door handle changed to piano black. It is a new Safari.
Plus, pls advise if it is risky to tinker with a new car. As an anxious owner of a new car, I won't mind paying a premium if the quality is assured to last for long.
