A basic reverse parking sensor with LED display, buzzer and 4 sensors can cost anywhere between Rs. 700 to Rs. 1300 (including installation) based on make and model. OEM ones can cost upwards of Rs. 2500. For warranty issues, please check with your dealer.

But if have the one with the display then you can just disconnect the display module or keep it in the boot.
Thanks samaspire. Will check this with one of the accessory shops.

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

I got front parking sensors installed for my XUV 500 from the showroom - they include a push switch on the panel under the steering for turning off the beeper. I keep it off most of the time, there is a small LED display that shows distance to nearest obstruction and that is enough most of the time.

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

Hi All, The more I researched on this, the more confused I am for my Celerio Zxi

1. I would not prefer to touch/modify/tamper the OEM IRVM.
2. I just want a 5" to 7" TFT monitor on the dashboard connected with a rear camera with visibility in darkness and auto engage on reverse gear.
3. Not sure if a sensor is also required (that would be 4 holes). A rear camera would require 1 hole. Problem is, I am not sure of the durability of these products hence want to keep the drilling to a minimum.
4. I don't want all the FM, Bluetooth functions etc... since those are already factory fitted. Don't want audio guide either, screen guide is sufficient for me.

Kindly help on any quality product/model and reliable dealer near Bangalore ORR (Marathalli/HSR/Koramangala)

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

Has anybody got RD address in Mumbai? Getting the delivery of Honda BRV next week and need to fit rear parking assist in it. I was using a sensor setup in my earlier car (xylo), which was sufficient. Looking to upgrade this time.

Hope that is a wise decision

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

My question is little quirky, I want to install a front facing camera in my Brezza for looking in areas hidden by the hood, especially for parking in tight spaces. I have a reverse camera setup with me which I bought off Amazon for 1.8K. Issue is that the image shown on LCD is reverse.

Is there a way by which one can change the orientation of the display? Currently it shows mirror image.

Most monitors have a settings button where you can change the orientation. Give us a link of the product that you have.

This is the product I've purchased. I've checked it and it works fine. Only issue is to change orientation after which I'll fit it.

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

If I have my own camera and mirror screen (planning to get it delivered by a friend in the US), can someone recommend a decent ICE store in Bangalore (I live on Sarjapura Road) to get it installed on my Honda City 2016?

One shop on Sarjapura Road told me he would charge Rs.800 just for installation - is that normal? Would it be better to get it done on JC Road?

re: The reversing camera & parking sensor thread

Guys, what's the best way to install a reverse camera without any warranty issues/cutting wires etc. Car in consideration is a 2016 GT TSI.

Some days back saw an advertisement on Facebook about a camera that can connect by blue tooth to your smart phone.
So the camera was shown stuck some place in the rear of the car and you could turn it ON from the smart phone and see the on goings on smart phone screen. No need to install a screen on dashboard.
Searched on net later but could not find.
Any idea guys where it could be found as I would like to buy it.
