Looks like the prices are reduced a bit, has anyone brought from this seller and how have the products been? Are they worth the money we are spending on them?

I bought magnetic shades for my Scorpio and xcent from car acceroreez last week.

Scorpio ones are nice fit for all 6 windows and look premium for the price paid. Xcent ones do not fit that well and keep falling off with light touch when the doors are open. however once doors are closed, they get stuck pretty well between door and body and do not fall off.

They keep the sun out pretty well and interiors are noticeably cooler even when parked under sun for long time.

All in all good buy for the money paid if not exceptional.

Could you please post some pics of the fitment on the Scorp? Also, how do you manage on the tolls?

Simple, I have not installed it on driver side window. Otherwise, you will have to open the door every time you are at the toll, which is a big pain.

I have bought it from eBay. Please search for caraccessoriez.

Re: Magnetic Sun Shades for windows - An alternative to sunfilm?

Just in case anyone is planning to buy from ebay, utilize the 15%, mobkwik coupon. I have placed an order today and the final price for the sun shaded for Vento was Rs 950, though not as cheap as Rs 400 mention by desideep!

Re: Magnetic Sun Shades for windows - An alternative to sunfilm?

Below are some pics of Magnetic sunshades i got from GP Road in chennai from Chandru automobiles for Rs2000. It fits well on my I20. 1 or 2 magnets are little loose due to the bend but overall the fit is excellent and sits well when the doors are closed. The only disadvantage is on the driver side, especially if you have to use toll roads or tolls at mall. The main intend was for the kids and wifey for which it serves well. I have attached the pictures of with and without sunshades for better understanding.

Answering a few queries regarding how it interferes with daily instances such as toll or parking slips , for the Fortuner the sun shades have a gap on front for the front sunshades thereby preventing their removal every time you have to pay toll.
After seeing this, I ordered a set for the fluidic verna. The pic in the AutoFurnish site also shows the gap in the front shades. But the set I received doesn't. So better call and check before ordering.

Apart from this, I am happy with the purchase. Paid 1k and shipping was free. Took about a week to arrive.

Planning to call and find out if there is indeed a model with the gap for verna and if I can get just the driver side piece replaced.

Costed Rs.4000 incl shipping. They sent through dtdc and it took around a week to reach .
1. Easy to fit and remove. Just takes 30secs.
2. Not using on driver side alone due to toll inconvenience . Got to open doors everytime.
3. Good privacy. Install sunfilm for rear glass will provide even more privacy.
4. Got to be careful in handling . The fabric might tear easily .
5. The Only option if you can't use sunfilms .

Re: Magnetic Sun Shades for windows - An alternative to sunfilm?

I am getting similar for my Vento from the dealership as an accessory for my new car for Rs. 5310/-

He said that it comes along with a clip at bottom so it will hold properly and that clip will be stuck on the window with a double tape. Now I am not sure which company is that from as the Autofurnish doesn't come with any clip. I saw it today at the dealership and it looked pretty good though. But I think the price is double of even Autofurnish! I just ordered it today evening but can cancel. Don't know what should I do now!

Re: Magnetic Sun Shades for windows - An alternative to sunfilm?

Hi Guys,

I am bumping this thread as I was able to find some better solutions, in my opinion. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen these here in India. I couldn't find any such solutions on ebay.in unfortunately. The below ones are custom designed to fit your car & can be removed without needing to open the door. This is the best of both worlds...

I am open to the magnetic shades only if anyone hasn't been stopped by cops. Can anyone share their experiences? Has any cops stopped them with these shades on in Bangalore? The reason I am saying this is because I have 70% visibility 3M sunfilm installed on my Figo & I have never been stopped by the cops. Its almost impossible to see actually. But if they stop me for inspection due to this SunShade, I'm afraid they might remove my sufilm.
