Can anyone recommend a good pressure washer for washing my car weekly once or twice and cleaning the floor daily? I prefer ones that are easy to carry around. My budget is around 10k.

I'd suggest the vantro with foam cannon and also the connectors to make sure the pipes are just a click everytime instead of screwing on and off all the time to save the threads. Also, since you will be washing the floor everyday get the 20 inch extender pipe for the gun along with a set of 5 different tips for the gun.

I have had a very poor experience with Karcher. Within no time (about 30) washes it started losing power and leaking water. It developed a crack on its pressure head. I suggest for daily kind of use, buy a washer with metal parts. The Karcher has plastic for its motor head.

If you could stretch your budget to 14,000 then in my opinion STIHL RE98 is an excellent option. I have been using it since past three years and can assure you that the build quality is solid and does it's job without fuss every time I use. I have two cars and I wash both of them every Sunday.

binoyyj - based on my use of Bosch EasyAquatak 120 for over last 2 years, I can vouch for that. I am very happy with it, it has a decent desired pressure for washing cars. I also use to deep clean balcony and terrace tiles as we have pets and it becomes a bit dirty. In addition I use it for A/C cleaning, Grills and Window using mist mode.

It has a foam container which you can attach to the gun and use, very useful and functional.

It is used with bucket of water and hence vicinity to tap is not required.
To use it, you shall have to buy a suction pipe, spending say 100-200 INR from the nearby hardware shop. Nothing else. The packing has everything you need to start.

I wanted complete peace of mind from reliability and spare parts perspective and had evaluated Black and Decker, Karcher and Bosch only. For the given money in March 2019 amongst the available brands/models, this model offered me more pressure, portability, foam option and sealed the deal.

Dear BHPian's any leads on good quality branded cordless pressure washer that has an ability to siphon water from a bucket. I am fed up of seeing those cheap Chinese 12V pump that works off the cars 12V port. I used to use the ResQtech 28 Litre 12V Rechargeable Pressure Washer but that's conked off. After having taken a look at the internals (12V pump and a battery held by zip tie) of the ResQtech I am unwilling to invest 7000 bucks again.

I live in an apartment (3rd floor) with no access to a common electrical point and running tap water on the ground floor. This makes it even more important for me to have a rechargeable cordless pressure washer. I know there are many like me who need this options. Kindly pitch in with your suggestions.

If the internals of the Resqtech are so simple it can be easily repaired. It will be either the pump or the battery or the charger. If you can't do it yourself get it checked by a local repairshop. You'll save a lot of money as it should not cost more than 2000 Rs in extreme case if the battery has gone bad.

Archat mate being a DIY'er I did try troubleshooting the unit. I tried shorting the terminals to see if the pump works as the on/off switch doesn't seem to engage the unit. This method did nothing to start the unit. Also the battery is rechargeable type which is tethered to the pump. I am not familiar with handling the rechargeable type battery, also not sure if it as gone kaput how to replace it. Finding a repair shop in this pandemic is very tough as most of them are closed.

If you have a multimeter it will help you to troubleshoot. First check the battery voltage, if its OK probably the pump is faulty. If battery voltage is not within the range check the charger. Also, if the pump is 12V try running it from the car battery directly to see if it runs. Pretty simple. The pumps cost about 1200 buck on Amazon when I last checked. I don't the battery capacity, but a 12V, 7AH ups battery costs around 1200 buck. So figure out the cost.

Is the pump12V? If so, it looks like the pump is faulty. But you need to ascertain the battery voltage and it is getting charged fully before you arrive at any conclusion.

As mentioned earlier it works on 12V so yes the pump is 12V. I know about the generic 12V pumps available dime a dozen. But my requirement is that it should be powered by a rechargeable lithium battery the same way as my current conked off ResQtech 28 Litre Rechargeable Washer works. Washing the car directly with 12V port is ok but washing my bikes will be a chore as I will need to keep moving them near my car. The whole purpose of buying a cordless rechargeable power washer was to overcome this issue. The ResQtech model I have worked ok for this purpose (albeit the pressure was nothing home to write about given the 12V supply) until it conked off. As mentioned earlier I am not willing to spend close to 7K for a washer like this again.
