Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Anyone come across any good deals in the ongoing sale? I am looking to get a basic pressure washer within 7k budget for washing at home. Prefer something that can draw water from a bucket.

Any recommendations?

For easy and effective floor/wall cleaning I would recommend their floor cleaning attachment T 350. You can regulate the pressure.

Only comments are firstly the styrofoam was damaged because I think Karcher India would have opened it, tested & pasted that ugly sticker.
I too ordered a Karcher K4 basic from Flipkart for 12,999 but it took 12 days to get delivered. Received it today and opened it to find the styrofoam damaged just like yours. Mine was made in September 2019 and imported in December 2019. Guess that's why the reduced price.

Just one thing. When I placed the handle in the space provided the handle does not go in completely. When I drag the machine the handle comes out at times. On Karcher website for k4 basic it lists the handle has telescopic. I see the picture you have shared the handle is almost half in. Am I missing something or doing something wrong. Or is it a defective piece
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks!!

The handle needs a proper tug to go inside and then you will have the extension working and adjust its height without it coming off.

I tried to push the handle in but I can feel resistance. Should I use more force?

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Force will break it. I put a bit of WD40 whenever it gets stuck. Doesn't free up immediately, but works in some time

Question - Does it need the 16A source or can I use plug adapter and use it with normal 6A source safely? Thanks
The starting current of these washers is very high and can touch 20A (for a very brief period) and they will not work on 6A circuits. The running current for most pressure washers is 8-9A so it will not be safe.
What I recommend (and do for most of my equipment) is to buy a 10M power cable (2.5mm sq 3 core ac wire) and use a 16A plug on one side and put an Anchor Penta Combo box on one side. This works well as an high power extension board. Typical cost is 600rs for cable + 60rs for plug and 150Rs for Combo box. So it costs around 800 rs total and works well for heavy equipment.

I’m looking to get a pressure washer. How has your experience with ResQtech been? Keen to go for it, considering it’s made in India.

So far it is good. I have used it only 4 times so far though.

The plastic edges near the motor are a bit sharp and can cut your hand if you are not careful while connecting the hoses to it.

Secondly , the foam bottle is too small, you will need a larger 1 Litre bottle to spray on a car, else you will need to refill it in the middle of the car wash.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Picked up a Starq W4 pro. Has good pressure and not too noisy. Haven't got a chance to use ut properly yet as the foam cannon I had got was defective so awaiting a new one.
