Yes mate I tried charging it multiple times. The charge shows as complete indicated by the green LED light on the charger. I have also tried to toggling the on/off switch multiple times to see if it works. Nada, no sign of the motor turning on.

Their contact numbers should be available online. Try calling them again.
I have sent them a Whatsapp message (describing the issue in detail) on all their 4 numbers but haven't heard back as yet.

Also it is a small setup and just about one or two people handling customer calls. At least that's how it was then.
Yes maybe, I am ready to wait for a few days more for receiving a response from them. If not then I will probably call them to find out a resolution.

Any day Karcher and K3 or up model in the range. Using K3 Premium for over a year now with no issues. Used it nonstop for 8Hrs without a hint of issue. Very robust and easy to repair units.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Bosch is not as reliable as Karcher. Karcher K2 purchased more than four years back cost me about Rs. 4000 in the UAE with a length of pipe thrown in and wall roll/stand. Today, I'd opt for a higher model like K4 or K5. The shop keeper advised me to never use extension wire and have constant water running, and it's all good.

Thank you for the feed back. yesterday I had chat with the Karcher agency at Calicut and the guy advised me to go for K3 450 model, which is enough for my usage.

thanks.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

I have recently purchased Karcher K4 Basic from a dealer. My only query is : Can I use it to suck water from underground tank with a ball valve\filter?

I have already seen Resqtech option. Anything from Bosch, karcher or similar brands would help.
Came across this Portable pressure washer on seniority.com website.
As described, it is portable and can be operated on DC( car DC socket) or AC also.
Perhaps it fits the bill.
Note: I am not associated in anyway with the manufacturers. Posting for the benefit of interested group members. User reviews seems positive/helpful
I have not bought or used it.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Guys, Need advise. Looking to buy my first pressure washer. I will be using this mainly to wash my car and patio at times. No heavy duty cleaning but looking for a good washer. I have two options:

1. Karcher K2 Compact - 6.5K (Amazon) (20% smaller than Bosch)
2. Bosch Aquatak 125 - 9.8K (Amazon)

Bosch is a bit more expensive but has 100W higher wattage, a foam lance included and a trolley design. Rest of the things seem similar.

Please advise which one of these would be better, reliable. Also if the heavy induction motor washers are the way to go instead from JPT, Resqtech etc.?

Did you purchase it? If yes, what's the feedback? Any accessories along with the main equipment you bought??

If the price difference isn't much, I suggest you go for K4 which comes with a water cooled motor!

I've one for almost 1.5 years & it's been working well. I got my K4 for around 18K from the dealer itself.

Re: Buying & Using a Pressure Washer

Folks

Got a Bosch Aquatac 125. Yet to use

Re the foam gel & foam lance, any recommendations?

Exactly how bad is the OEM lance?

The MJJC Foam lance has become obscenely expensive (₹ 4,000!!)

Any other options? Saw this VMTC Lance for a more reasonable ₹ 1,000.

Is it any good? Better than the OEM one?

Regarding the gel to be used, can I use 3M car wash shampoo or should I buy one of the pressure wash gels? Any opinions between ProKlear or Wavex?

The consensus seems to be ProKlear but it is quite an old opinion. Hence the question.

Thanks in advance

The OEM lance is no good and cannot make thick foam. MJJC is best but its cheaper to get from aliexpress. The VMTC one looks pretty similar an might give similar results to MJJC. I have the Foam Lance from Resqtech and it costed around 900/- which gives good result but it might not fit Bosch.

I am using the 3M shampoo and diluting with lukewarm water and using with the lance gives a good thick foam. You can try that out.
