This was between my Engineering and Masters.

Had a few months, and a nice place to work.

So I built this with the Help of my Father.

Fully fabricated the Frame, Bearing housings, steering mechanism, Rear axle, Brakes, and other required essential components. Threw in the Engine from my Comet GT250 (Which then became an Electric Bike) and there it was. 27bhp high torquem 5 speed manual, fun and drift go kart. Did enjoy A LOT with it... Donated it to a college then later.

Hey - wonderful project really. Great craftsmanship & congratulations for it. A really kind gesture of donating it to the college too.

If you don't mind, could you share a few more detailed pictures? Of the actual mechanisms? Loved the fan on the (oil?) cooler most . How do you change the gears by the way?
I'm really curious about how this beast of a cart sounded.

Perhaps you'll build a monster truck by the time you complete your studies.

Thanks a lot indeed! Yes the oil cooler fan was very effective.

I had the following mechanism (Picture attached) to shift Gears. Was easy and fun!.

I'm done studying and have started up my own place to build crazy things now. Anyways, the car sounded real nice! You can check its performance on this link:

Well it use to be warm, but never got any burns and such. specially with a jacket on, you could'nt feel the heat at all. Enjoy the video!
