What kind of mods are you looking at? Performance? Cosmetic?
Need some idea of that before suggesting anything. Pls mention your budget as well.

do you have good tyres? if not get these first.

then you can get an air filter, say a green wind. after that a free flow exhaust.

i think the best thing u can do firstly to a santro is get some rubber on it - maybe 185/60/13s shld do but for tht u need to get the right alloys. This will greatly improve stability not to mention unsprung weight. This will however easily exceed your 20k budget. But it will give both cosmetic and performance improvements Just fyi i paid 35k for 5 185/60/13 yokohamas and 5 alloys - although you can get em for atleast 7-8 cheaper

Next get a CAI - i got a K&N CAI for 7-8k

lastly get an FFE from someone reputed - this i am still planning so no recommendations yet - but make sure you get some good references and pay not more than 10-12k

thats it - you can get a spoiler n some body kit - personally i am not very much into body kits as they may add more weight.

Also please spare the vehicle from the cheap sponsor stickers you see on the sides of indicabs these days. These used to look cool earlier but given that most cabs use em I would pass em. Put a sticker only if you have that component installed (eg K&N sticker the one you get with your CAI)

my 2 cents, hope it helps !!

cheers,
j

185/60 is overkill. The tyre will scrap the rear! Harsh87 a fellow bhpian is running this size and facing problems with scraping.

Ideal upsize is 165/65/13 but u can stretch it to 175/60/13

Get the freeflow VIPER performance in mumbai i've been using it for a while now and its amazing in performance and drivablity.

aza - i am on 185 for more than 2 yrs now and have had no probs on rear at all - did have to remove the front mud flaps as they were touching but then i decided to get rid of all 4 mudflaps!!

I am sure it is 185, but whether it is 185/60 i can check morrow morning

i am on the 2005/2006 model erlx, so don't know if other models have probs

cheers,
j
