Jaguar XF Mods!

As some of you may know, we purchased a Jaguar XF 3.0 V6 Diesel last December. It was one of the first 2012 Facelifted XFs in Mumbai.

And now, I'm thinking of some mods for the car.

First would be a louder exhaust system. The stock is decent but just not loud enough. I don't know what company I could go for. I know Spires makes an exhaust system for the XF, but I was thinking of something louder. I'm trying to get in touch with Racetech, I know they fit Kresseig exhausts but I don't know if Kresseig makes any for Jaguar. Hence I'd like suggestions on which exhaust system I could go for.

Secondly, I wanted to upgrade The rims and tires to 19 inters from the stock 18's. The current ride is pretty comfy so I don't think it would be much of a problem, since the 5.0litre XFs come with 19's stock. Anyway, again I'm confused which rims too go for. I'm thinking either gloss black or gun metal, and something aggressive along the lines of Asanti DA-174. Also what tires are good and would fit these wheels? I get quite considerable amount of wheel spin on the stocks.

I might also consider painting the brake calipers.

The last question would be where I can get these mods done. Like I said, I'm already considering Racetech, but I'm open to other suggestions!

Do you seriously want a FFE on a diesel Jaguar? I dont think you will get a sport roar with a diesel unit. Also, try to make your Jaguar classy. So avoid it if you can.

A humble suggestion - Please remove the hood ornament (Jaguar leaper). It is spoiling the clean lines of your beautiful car.

Bro believe me you don't want a loud exhaust on a diesel. The exhaust note is just not that good. The Spires exhaust sounds good, and if anything I suggest you go for that.

Though yes Racetech is a good place to go to, check out what they offer.

As for the rims, the stock rims look brilliant. I suggest you get them painted gunmetal. Gloss black will look tacky, and I'm not a fan of it. Painting them won't cost much and if you don't like it then you can buy new rims.

What is the stock tyre size, and what brand are the stock tyres on the car right now?

Sorry man , but why do you want your car to sound loud ? ,when you roll up all the glasses and doing 100 + kph ,where do you hear sound ? .Please don't do such things.

There would have been tons of engineering gone into making those rims sizes and tyre sizes .It is best to leave it stock ,unless you are pushing it to limits .

Asanti Da 174 would look great in 19" gunmetal, go for them, be careful to select the correct tire size.
A loud exhaust on a diesel would only sound tacky IMHO.

Yeah I'm having second thoughts about the exhaust too, since the only option available is Spires and it's not that great, really. Still not sure about the wheels, might also get jaguar's own 19 inchers in gunmetal. Thanks for the response guys!
