That vehicle has a long history. It really has the looks but nothing inside as such. Like a blonde babe

Its a Tata 207 with Dicor engine, with loads of customization. I am not sure if the present owner of this vehicle knows how to operate the winch that is there in that vehicle.

The vehicle was built in Mysore-KA, keeping in mind a Hot wheels car. By the looks and the way it shows up in the road is just awesome. I had tried finding out about the origin of the vehicle, but lead to no where and the present owner is also very skeptical whenever I probe him more about the vehicle and its identity.

Srini - The vehicle that you are pointing to is another one getting built on the same lines, BTW why did you visit our Garage

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Problem with cars such as the Polo, Swift & Civic above is that the sheen tends to wear off pretty quickly, especially if they aren't kept in top condition, and they start to look like trashed cars that were 'resurrected' in the desperate hope that they retain their appeal.

Keeping it simple is the key.

The VW logo could've been blackened to complete the 'butch' look if that is what the owner was trying to achieve. Also, I'd get rid of the spoiler thingy below the rear windshield, its actually acting like a 'spoiler' spoiling the looks IMHO.

Saw this Outlander parked near the TCS office in Patia. Though not exactly modified, those wheels and alloys gave it a very aggressive look.

The car looked even meaner from the front 3-quarters but I couldn't click it as I was driving.

On a serious note, the mods look great but the front lip is downright dangerous.
In no doubt, the front lip is quite a buzz kill for the car. Ignored the same because the car overall was a looker .

Re: PICS : Tastefully Modified Cars in India

Apart from the weird front lip, this's a good looking i20. Much better than those outlandish ones we get to see often.

With reference to the Polo that I posted earlier, it seems like the person is too keen on giving his cars spiky front lips

Saw this car yesterday morning while I was driving to work. By the photos it looks like the work was done by 'Retro' in Calicut.

Like you said, the toothy front end is just too weird.

Safety norms are making car companies go all the way to help with stuff like 'Pedestrian safety', and then we see this as a tasteful mod!

Both those cars, its beautifully done up, except for the teeth.
