Pete's tuned VW Polo

agree:Polo looks a killer. The riding height has been reduced. Is it because of the alloys or some serious modifications have been done?

Now this mod is almost certain to fool even the most hardcore automobile enthusiast. Unless he / she happens to be standing close by and hears the 2 liter diesel engine clattering away! :D

Good job though! A friend of mine has done something similar to his 2011 Audi A4.

this is a 3.0 liter TFSI which would be close to its big brother.

Also, prithwi81's TSI baby got a WRC front. Pure drool!

The Red Polo has subtle yet impressive exterior mods! Great stance.

Edit: I meant the KL Red Polo. The Polo from DL looks weird.

That Polo looks cool. Like the stance.
Any side profile pics? Wanna have a look at the alloys. Seem to be copper colored. Contemplating getting a set in 17 inches and 108 PCD. Not many good desgins available. Any pointers?

I've attached those pics below. Btw, those are 17 inch Borbet RS wheels, they indeed come in that colour :). Pardon me mate, I'm not much versed with these alloy wheel stuffs as I haven't got any experience with them before. But have a look at Vossens and other Borbets

The Bilstein B14 Suspension kit could be the culprit :D

PS - I guess that the car was featured here before.

Alloys look like Borbet RS in Matte Bronze color.

Thanks for the pics! Borbet alloys are a bit expensive. Will have to buy in pairs stupid:

How about this one? My modded GT TSi

Getting hold of good 108 PCD wheels is a real pain in the a$#. Look for ford tuners in europe/UK. Only they have that PCD. What you get here is the multi hole stuff which IMO doesn't look too good. Car tracks in bangalore have some good ones in 108PCD. Try them.

Thanks mate.
Totally agree with you. 108 PCD wheels are very hard to find. Don't know why Ford supplies this odd PCD on all it's cars.

Congrats on the add on prithwi, looks too Wild!! clap:

I just picked up my GT TDI in the same shade and have realized how mod friendly the German machines really are. :D

I don't know if you have thought about this, but I think the 2 chrome strips that house the GT monogram seem out of place here after the WRC bumper installation.
I think you should get these 2 strips painted to gloss black or get a gloss black wrap, leaving only the GT monogram in chrome. Probably this might gel well with the new bumper.

Hi Kaumad, To call it weird or wacky is an insult since the execution is very neat. Also, it takes a lot of planning to execute a design on a different OEM car. The difference between this car and pictures on wacky mods thread is that these mods were done only after preparing a logical design pattern which can suit the car. I know Arush Sir, though his price of the job is on the higher side but he definitely has a good sense of styling the cars. Over the years we have come across many good examples from Autopsyche.

Its certainly not weird or wacky, but its not particularly tasteful either. If we used this A6 as a comparison, any car in India with a new set of rims and some go-faster stickers could be featured on this thread.
Basically, that car has a new grill, a few S6 stickers, rims and that diffuser. Nothing more. Compared to most of the cars from Kerala seen on this thread, that's a very poor effort.
