Need: Autocop XS user manual

I just bought a pre-owned Zen with Autocop XS installed. I need a user manual for the Autocop to figure what all I can do with it. Please let me know if you know/have a soft-copy.

OK this AutoCop is driving me crazy! Is there any way to turn off the chirping when I lock/unlock the doors?
My remote has only 2 buttons (lock/unlock, car locator) and 1 switch (on/off) and my cousin told me that some remotes come with a third button that is used to mute the sounds.

Questions:
1. Can I just get another remote with the mute button?
2. If no, Is there a seperate speaker that chirps (so I can disconnect it and not end up muting the theft alarm!)?

You can mute the sound by pressing both buttons(lock/unlock, car locator) together when locking/unlocking the doors.

Can anybody tell how to mute the reverse horn. My vehicle is fitted with Autocop XS system and the remote has 3 button switches and an on/off switch. Day before yesterday I paid fine for the reverse horn.

Just push the center button before pressing the unlock one. If your car unlocks without a sound the reverse horn is disabled.

Thanks buddy. I never knew it's so simple, just disabled the reverse horn. I asked a Service Advisor at Maruti workshop, he tried a lot, ultimately gave up and said Maruti doesn't recommened Autocop. By the way how to enable it again?

Whenever you want to have the reverse horn just unlock using only unlock button simple

You can also follow same technique to lock the car quietly, helps at late nights

Hi
My Zen was accessorised with an Autocop Security System 10 years ago when I bought this car. It has been working perfectly until now.

Recently, I discovered that when I press the unlock button, the sound plays just once instead of twice. Same is the case with the lock button, only once. And sometimes, it doesn't sound at all at locking or unlocking whatsoever.

Need help!

Re: Need: Autocop XS user manual

Hey Guys,

I have got Autocop XS with the two button remote (left button is lock/unlock and right one is panic alarm).

Can someone help me with the soft copy of the manul for this one (I guess the abovce mentioned doesnt have the type of the remote I have). I need the key combination to arm the system with impact sensor disabled. Need it while kids are having fireworks time around..
Thank you.

Why don't you unplug the impact sensor wire from under the hood? I agree, it does get annoying!

Re: Need: Autocop XS user manual

Yes, that can be an option. I know the plug that completely disables the Autocop, need to find out the one that is used only for impact sensor.
Thanks.
