A big round of applause !

Customisation, the branding, the concept, the out of the box idea
ALL this by 1 of the best Indian Automobile companies !

WELL DONE!

Hats off to this 'Concept and Project' in the 1st place.

Hope this gets extended to the Scorpio soon.

As for the actual product -
Exteriors are quite nice. Really nice. No doubt.
But
Interiors, I personally found the stitching and ideas excellent but the choice of colour too gawdy. & it looks its worst on the steering wheel.
Maybe a much darker shade or 2 tone upholstery would help.

Looking forward to more pics.

re: Mahindra Customization Vehicles

Those interiros gave me an instant headache. Good branding exercise by Mahindra, though.

I liked the front and I also believe that Mahindra will give color changing options for the interior.

Check the M&M customisation site as the OP has mentioned. main

And dont miss the Bolero Attitude...leads me to believe there is a surplus stock of exhaust pipes in the warehouse.

re: Mahindra Customization Vehicles

The front end is all i like on this vehicle. That too could have been worked out better- seems a bit cluttered to me.

the front and the back end seem to belong to different vehicles here! the stock bolero tail lights would have looked better me thinks. and the quad exhaust makes it resemble a merc G wagon AMG.

Interior colour is horrible, and fit and finish could be better. Note the uneven mahindra logo on the steering wheel.

Definitely, mahindra could do much better..

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooo! All hope is lost!!!! Did you say train under Mahindra Customization? I think they just killed a potent 4wd, tarting it up like they did the Armada grand, ofcourse that was years back, now they have better plastic surgeons! If that wonderful design team existed, the least they could have done is change that gear knob. As though enough has not been written on that front.

DO NOT Lose focus SRK, Think global. learn from these guys? learn what? if one wants a job I guess no one can deny that. But expected more from you.

I know everyone would want to loose that gear knob, better wipers, better dashboard, better so many things than having Scorpio tail lamps and twin headlamps! Aaaargh!

Nanda Ji heading this one man army, and they have lost all the battles till now....

there is lot of individual talent floating around in india who could a better job!

(Mayapuri, Dabwali etc) are doing the same bling bling jobs for half the price from M&M!

That was a really big "No".

Training as in would like to gain practical experience in this field, specially the fabrication part.

I know there are quite a few firms doing similar work out there, even tried a few places but things didn't work out.
Even drafted a mail once to these guys but got no reply.

re: Mahindra Customization Vehicles

The mods are like a 65 yr old getting a facelift - all show and no go! To add insult to injury M&M seems to be discontinuing the only macho SUV it had ,the Bolero Storm
Here I was fantasizing about getting a storm 4x4, but then if wishes were horses...
The customization dept , sure is on hallucinogens, they are not a new variety of halogen lamps ( oops...bad joke! )

It would be difficult to create something more hideous on four wheels. Looks like something a ten-year-old might conjure up in his wildest dreams.

re: Mahindra Customization Vehicles

Hi Guys,

I recently saw this picture of what looks like a semi-cab bolero in the official Mahindra new video :

The Yellow Semi-cab one makes an appearance at the 0:52 sec mark:

Mahindra Customization Vehicles-screenhunter_17-nov.-08-16.29.jpg

Any idea what variant of Bolero this is and whether it has already been launched? Seems like an interesting proposition!

Found the answer after Ben's response and some searching:
http://www.mahindra-customisation.com/

Regards,
Behemoth
