it was the most basic bmw at the time....and 7 lakhs....ridiculous. Could most likely get an e46 318 for that much.

The dealer will have an engenious reason for this he will say this E36T is very rare sir only one in India like anybody cares, no one cared about them in the west and I suppose some value may come once it becomes a classic but you see we live in a very smart, fast, and flat new world so you get today what you can get in the future! at this rate we should all walk into the next world now instead of wasting time it will be like getting what you should in the future NOW how do you like this idea gordo

I have another bright spark here in Mumbai wanting 7.5 lacs for a 1995 325 tds for which he paid 2.5 lacs 1 year ago and spent another lac on refurbishment. I took my check book and offered him 4 lacs which he refused, his stories kept changing every time I met him
