They also sourced and fitted one broken bulb holder, ensured all wiring was restored to normal, and as a bonus, also perfected the position of the rev cam.

The relief: Priceless!
Excellent work. Calls for more pictures of your Samara.

This also gives me a sigh of relief as i was getting worried seeing the cost of replacing the rear bumper.

Yes, pictures due... It's been raining a lot in Pune last couple of days, and I am waiting for a dry spell before going under for some pics!

Couple of quick pics to show how she looks now, after the "surgery" - as you can see, all good!

Got Samara new matting at the 3M outlet in Baner. Got black, although there were interesting biege and grey options too! The best part - the made to order fitting. The staff, led by their manager Tapas, was knowledgeable and courteous, the coffee was great! I also got a free vacuuming and door-edge cleaning - which was great

Total cost for around 40 sq foot of matting - 9400 including taxes and fitting.

On the way back to Pune from Goa, we took a short detour to the beautiful Kaas Pathar. Read the tiny travelogue at http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...ml#post2919556

The settings for the mirroring of the image from the Reversing Camera are found in the system settings on the Kenwood Head Unit. You need scroll down to the Rear Camera settings and then set RCAM Mirror to Off. I had the same issue the other day when I fixed back my bumper after repairing the brackets for the brake light.

Thanks, HillBilly!

Actually, a long time back, while checking out the Kenwood, I had seen this, but when the problem occured this time, I completely forgot about the software settings, and thought this was due to incorrect wiring. At the A.S.C, the mechanic knew it was a software config issue, but didn't remember exactly what needed to be done, and that's when it came back to me

But I wonder, who would need a RCAM in mirror mode?

Looks cool

How is the samara doing? My Endy has been sleeping in the garage for two Weeks now. I have been using the Fiesta a lot and i'm hopeful to lay my hand on the Endy this Sunday.

Re: My Ford Endeavour 3.0L AT 4x4

@MAS, thanks Samara's doing very good... past 51k kms already, and no complaints at all. She does need polishing once in a while, to keep the coat shiny, and yes, a lot of diesel!

When I bought her, I thought I would use her like once in a while, and the Fiesta for daily travel. But my car ends up sitting in the garage, except for maybe a drive on the weekend... it's just so much more convenient to take the Endy out!

There we go, Sir! Your command has been executed... I have been shifted from the neo-natal into the excited teens ward

There haven't been any TBHP events lately... so unless you help me, I am gonna sit here for a long time!

Ahhh...look who's here ! Welcome to the Old Boys Ward, dear chap...and not a moment sooner. You were almost begining to look like those 80 year olds who are still hanging around in the 'Youth' Congress.
And yes - our Endy Vs T-Fort shootout is long overdue. That should be quite an event. Let's plan out something in Jan.
Will link up.

Incidentally what kind of FE figure is Samara returning currently ?

Re: My Ford Endeavour 3.0L AT 4x4

Yes, let's do the Endy vs T-Fort shootout soon; I know you have been practising hard with your gang in Rajmachi

FE - don't ask! I get 7, max 7.5, whether in city or on the expressway. AC on always, and yes, I am not too gentle on the throttle and the brakes.
