Re: PaNtHeR - My Ford Figo TDCi EXi -24K update

Excellent. Loved it. Could nothing be done to the part with the horn. I think that would have made it look excellent.

I actually liked the orange contrast you chose for the interior pads and seats. Good workmanship as well.

Thanks for the update to your thread.

@CRtorquefan, Thanks!
@Gemi, Thanks! I don't think anything can be done on the middle part, maybe an Orange Ford Logo in place of the Blue one...lol
@Benny, Thanks!

The seat covers look nice. Eventhough it was a dashing color, it looks pretty.
I feel my car color (black EXi) has lost its shine at boot door, bonnet etc. How about your car.

Thanks RGK. My car color is fine at those spots although I park it in the open at my home as well as at work. Try getting it detailed, it would get the shine back. I have been getting it polished (clay polish) once in every 7-8 months.

Guzzler the seat cover is fantastic!
Sometime back I remember posting on your ownership report that the labour cost of ford was too much, Now my car is with the body shop and I know how it feels

My black figo is over a year old, 1 year 3 months to be exact. Even today she shines like the day she came out from the showroom. But then I do get the car detailed myself once in 2 months or so

Thanks Captain. Yes, I saw your thread and have posted a link to my invoice. Pity that the Ford dealers screw up the experience of owning such a nice car.

Your car still looks just out of the showroom, good job on the polishing. Every Sunday I think of doing it, but am very lazy and postpone it to the next week.

Costed me 11k with the door trims, leather steering (with orange threading) and leather gear knob (with orange threading).
The interior has been done up really well. I liked the orange thread in the gear knob and the steering. What material have they used for the seats? And is it possible to get some padding done in the front seats for lumbar support?

Like the orange bottles that go with the interior theme.

EDIT: 24k and you still haven't taken off the plastic film off the stereo!!

Thanks Tgo. They used Art leather for the Seats. Yes, you can get more padding done if required. I felt this material added a bit more height and hence did not go for any padding, but yeah you can get it done as you wish.

lol, the orange bottles were just a coincidence, nothing to do with the interiors. Yeah, did not bother to remove the plastic of as I have never used a CD in it yet, use my phone through Aux port for all my music.

Cheers!!!
