Usually our Getz CRDi gets serviced at Advaith Hyundai, but they have got a little lax off late, and i decided to change it due to 2 reasons, one being the former and second being the location, the new one is close to my place. LAKSHMI HYUNDAI.

Got it serviced for 35,000 kms periodic service + Clutch plate Change + Pressure plate replacement + Releaser Bearing replacement . Bill touched Rs 21,000/-, but got some discounts and had to shell out Rs.19,004/-

Overall, a very good job done and delivered On time.

The first 28,000 kms was driven by a lady 75% and her short husband for 20%. The rest 5% was screwed up by us

So now the CRDi is as good as NEW after its 35,000 kms service. Do let me know if you need help once you are in Bangalore

An update-: I got the car checked, in my presence, at Popular Hyundai. There was no problem with the Accelerator Position sensor. A simple lubrication did the trick.

Apart from that, 2 issues have cropped up
1) The windscreen spray doesnt work
2) There is a shuddering in the brake pedal and steering when braking from speeds above 120kmph.

Any idea what needs to be checked for the 2nd point?

krish3 - This mostly happens due to wrapped brake discs. Solution is to repalce them. Other option is to get them faced at a lathe shop if the wrapping is not much. Minimal facing (say <1mm) is okay, however should be done by experienced person to maintain same disc thickness for both discs. Please also replace brake pads under either option or else problem will come back soon. Also please bed in new/ faced discs properly for else you will again face the issues soon (http://zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm).

You could also start with cleaning brake pads/ disks and rear drums and see if it helps, chances are less though.
