Post 431 - EDIT: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/long-t...ml#post3032726 (Tata Safari 2.2 - Life beyond 50k kms)

I had noticed loss of coolant before and noted in the log above. Apparently there is a Spider T Joint hose which was loose. It had been ordered and is available. But on the vehicle it was found to be little loose and leaky. That is something also under observation which if found again to be leaky will be duly replaced.
So far no loss of coolant, but i am going to get it rechecked before starting for sure.

Just been to the holy grails of Ladakh.
Tata Safari 2.2 - Life beyond 65k kms-mh12nrpangongso15kft-copy.jpg
Issues during the trip: None
Reoccurring Issue during the trip: Airfilter cleaning.
Average KMPL for the Trip: 13KMPL
Total KMs: 6400KM. (Off track/Make your own road: 1200kms)

During one time the engine ran continuous for 40hrs approx

TL already in writing and should be up any moment

Post the trip:

Oil/Oil Filter and Differential Oil changed. Coolant topped up in the reservoir.

I suspect the rear suspension bushes to be cut and then of course the vehicle still steers straight, but will get the alignment and balancing done after some time.

So far so good...

Re: Tata Safari 2.2 - Life beyond 65k kms

Got the wheel alignment and balancing done yesterday at concorde motors pune first time after new continental cross contacts and return from leh . Interestingly, there was only minor 0.10 on the LHS tire, deviation from the actual readings. I am impressed.

# FE: steady 12KMPL in city
# Clutch spring making noise time to re lubricate it
# Nothing major/minor to report.

Cheers to life !

ODO: 67000
