For the bouncing, also have a look at your tire pressure, just in case.
Lolz...600km@3months Office is 1km..so i drive to office alternatively and twice a month i leave her idling for 30 mins or so when I wash it.
Planning for a short trip sometime soon this month.

I cant bear the pain of 200kms a month!

Edit: Tire pressures are weekly checked and are stable @30/35 F&R respectively.
I feel its more to do with crappy bushes(all of em) and shockers/dampers @front

Well "someone" suggested so that the oil(diesel and engine oil) is recirculated and Excessive wear during startup doesnt occur if I use it once in 2 weeks.

nothing against it, but initially i didnt buy it but then there is no harm eitherways. As always comments are welcome

Rahul - in case of less frequent usage, idling the vehicle for 10 minutes on a weekly basis should suffice. That is what I do.

And if only idling, idle at about 1500 rpm (higher than normal idling speeds) after an initial warm-up.

Reclaimed Hell ya !

Today evening, i was just wondering about my poor hella's on the safari, of which one was torn apart by a buncha bufalo's.

Anyways, in the evening as usual went to reliance mart for weekly chores and behold in the parking..

Him: Saaaaaar!.... Saaaaar !

"Turning around, i saw the person who had sold me the Hella 700f". Yes

Me: Yes, did i park wrong..

Him: No saar, but where are your Hella's.

Me: Blah blah blah.. buffalo's .... grumble grumble 5k gone into water. #$@.

Smiling Mischievously
Him: Oh.. "sun ke bahut dukh huya" but I am really happy also. Atleast I can sell you something.

Me: what the ..5k no ways not now.

Him: Psst... xx% off..only coupla Hella's left

Me: Kya ..."grinningly i tell my wife to shop around and me BRB or meet in the basement"

Soon I rush to the second floor to see and believe what I hear
After 40 mins or so

Me: Allright, are they fixed..
Them: Yes they are..

Switching on the Hella's .. boy am i relieved

Thanking him, I give him some tip and set off home, all lights blazing.

Seeing is believing..

Based on your exp, do you recommend this place for general servicing of Safari 2.2? I've shifted to Mundhwa and this place is closest other than Shrinivas Auto in Hadapsar. Do they accommodate walk-in customers?

Ahhh very close to where I stay

Eyes Closed..

I trust my Safari service with only "Pandit Automotives ~ Bhosari Pune."

I love rains

I love rains and slush around the corner

I love it more, when Safari is slushed up till the claddings with muds.

I loved it even more, when i could actually drift sideways prolly 30 -40 degrees to the left from straight line . torque on demand with slip blip on the throttle.

Well pics would be coming up this week hopefully if i can get someone to click it

Of late i have managed to inch up the speedo to 26200KMS

I also filled E-IV diesel from shell and boy the noise from the veh went up :S. Not sure if its the case with others but comments are welcome.
