VTSS is a separate module which is sourced from Minda (atleast in my vehicle)

What is 'Door Lock Inhibit'?

Even the Sierra had a module (then manufactured by "Grihini Udyog' inside TM to TM's design) which controlled some of the functions that you have listed eg:Instrument Panel dimming.

Sorry, If have asked too many questions..
Door Lock Inhibit - Is to give you a warning (Audible) when you remove the Key with the Head Lamp on .... can also be programmed not to lock the Car with the Key in the Ignition (even if you press the lock and close the door) ... The other function is Unlock procedure (remote) - One press open only drive side, Press Twice to unlock all four door's...

BCM Control's other Parameters which is relayed over to the ECU / PCM as well.. I beleive the Newer BCM's have the capability to control NVH(engine) by sensing Body Vibration's ... I am not sure about this though...

If the VTSS is seperate in the Safari then i assume that it does not have a BCM...

I was checking to see what are the underlying differences between the Grande and the safari ... Cos from a ownership perspective .. more eletronics (from Tata) can be a pain .... like the window going up nd down on its own ..etc ....

Thanks for the correction, I was misinformed. It does indeed represent the class and material.

The coolant level was slightly below the High but still he told the machanic to top up (perhaps to please), yeah he got the OEM bottle and topped up the Aux tank only.

BTW the mechanic must have topped up the auxillary coolant tank (ONLY). I hope that he filled in RAW coolant and not coolant diluted with water.

P.S: The front Engine sump cover is not available is spares. It is similar to the 3L model and should have been introduced atleast 2/3 years ago.

You can't register yourself, TATA should have called and registered you.

The membership card and portal profile is done by them with your details and sent across.

Heh-heh, welcome to the Club (of those who haven't made it to the Explorer Club yet). In my case, vehicle was bought in October 2006, postcard sent out by dealer on the same day - nothing yet

Sorry to barge in.

As confirmed by me in an earlier post, I get the Krr noise even if I am standstill, in neutral, and I do a sudden press of the accelerator
