Suman, it was in the pipeline since quite a long time. Had always been wanting to put it down here. Yesterday was a prefect opportunity with my manager not being in office. Hehe.. so made the most of it.

Rahul, as CrazyDriver has rightly mentioned, it was coined by me as a simple abbreviation for My IKon.
Jaggu, you can also pitch in with your inputs. You had a gteat time with your Ikon for 7 long years.
Abhi, glad you liked the car. You have seen him up, close n not too personal.
Hormaz, although people blame Ford for the after-sales, no one as such despises their cars, based on what i have come across here. Granted they arent as proactive as MUL, but a lot depends on the dealers involved.
Speedmeister, just hope it stays that way.

Riju, i had to pawn all jewellery i had access to in order to get him. Maybe you can help me out now. Footwear i would definitely do, but a lot depends upon how my salary rises, and also need to look at housing needs. They are the only stumbling blocks in my way.
As for scratches, there are a few, thanks to a scooter, and the most recent one being a cyclist who couldnt stop in time and went right into the rear bumper from the left side. Left behind a nice big scratch there. As of now, i dont need any more volunteers to add scratches.
Sammyboy (Samarth), felt quite nice to be of help, buddy. However small it may be.

I dont use the car on a daily basis as such, so maybe i dont lie around in traffic all day long. That is also a factor to consider. I use the car only twice a week or so for office commutes.

I should show this to the guy who evaluated my English paper in Engg first year. Got a measly 66 in that paper, while i was thinking i would get a lot more.
Nimz, Mike conveys his love to Sparky. Looking forward to meeting her someday.
1100D, i agree with what you said. Guess i have been blessed so far. Wifey also understands the bonding with the car, and so never creates an issue of it. Re-visits are a pain for me too, as the service centre is quite far from where i stay. Seriously !!

Btw- you'll need to tell your driver in the 3rd pic to appear presentable and brush his teeth - atleast when momentous photos are taken. |
Now thats news for me, Mahesh. Didnt know you had an Ikon earlier.
As for the pose, shall make sure the next time the owner flashes his teeth, he uses Cloromint.

Compenn, good luck buddy, although i have no idea how the CNG version fares. Good to see you moving on from one Ikon to the next.
John, Hike sounds good, although too early to take a hike. Seems you have a lot more to say... we're waiting.
ReignOfChaos, Moralfibre, what you've mentioned are indeed the virtues of the Ikon.
