yep! I love the aprio's grille (the straight lines look classy) but the thing is, in the logan the grille and the bumper is one piece. so i will have to get the whole thing changed in order to just get that look!

great review ashutosh.
The black colour though tough to maintain looks awesome.
The first post in this thread was on 7th july, so i believe that it is safe to assume that you already have tested the AC well (It can become a green house with all the glass and black exteriors)
Are you planning on getting an exterior mod???
I believe that apart from the lights nothing much needs change.

Terrific review. I just love the feedback on the Logan coz it's a car on my wish-list. Thanks for making the effort.

@motorhead - did post a/c review in my ealier reports. a/c is good, but the FE drops to 10-12.

I am also from Noida but currently in US.
When I come back, I am planning to go for Logan 1.6.
How has your A** experience been so far?

Hey Ashutosh, I have one more question. I have driven the Logan 1.4 but not the 1.6. Is 1.6 considerably more powerful than the 1.4? I am asking because I am hungry for power :-)

1.6 definitely has better pickup. Did a TD and loved it.

But, if you are hungry for power then I think you should look elsewhere.

At 85bhp, the 1.6 Logan is not the most powerful. But at 4.7L ex-showroom, I think its the cheapest 1.6ers in the market.

But front rear bumper prices are same Rs. 3066, I wish if I could get a one from Aprio.

ya, but for aprio's grille lookalike, I'll have to either get one imported from Mexico or get one grill+bumper assembly made here!

the only thing i would like to comment on logan is about the color choices .black, white and red looks good but i hate the golden color.there are a lot of modded logan in the europe.logan owners there is a link in t-bhp regarding this.search for that and you would be amazed to see the works done.the only irritant is the side profile else they are too good.

I am cool with that because my budget is 5-5.5L only and in that I feel that Logan is the best bet. I will test drive the 1.6 once I am back.

buying 1.6 GLS

great writeup ashutosh.
I am buying Logan 1.6 GLS model. The on road price (5.68L) in bangalore is compelling. I am booking the car this saturday(2-FEB-2008).

More after taking the delivery.
