The use a torque wrench to tighten all the suspension components.

As sideways said the suspension bushes in the lancer are not available from HM. They sell the lower arm with all the bushes attached and no bushes separately. That's why they say we dont have bushes to replace as it comes along with the lower arm.

Currently I dont think the bushes need to be changed but in a couple of months when I plan to change to synthetic oil, and get a complete flush and various other parts cleaned I will also replace the bushes from an independant garage.

e_L, i dint get the taught part?

If this fellow now goes and ICEs it instead of Mivecing it, a couple of us boys are going to get together and beat him so bad, he will turn black and Blau and orange, and move to Mumbai or Delhi. Somebody's gonna get a hurt real bad!

Well my CD changer stopped working and my rear speakers are going phurr phurr.

Anyways not for a while. This 20K repair job will take a little time for dad to get over before he lets me do anything else.

I have a lancer -2001 model, done 65000 kms ... vechile is in good shape. Came across the suggestion of using Mivec engines in this thread, I would like to know more about it ... what will be cost of the engine, installation and associated expenses.

These would be helpful:
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...ransplant.html (performance mods for a lancer... MIVEC engine transplant)

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...cer-mivec.html (Mitsubishi Lancer - MIVEC)

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modifi...my-lancer.html

3 lacs is a little optimistic from what I learnt... may go above that.
