I changed the pads as well as the rotor discs.

hehehe. the elusive suspension bushes I'll get changed later as the suspension just needed a little tightening after my last few off road adventures.

I totally agree, the engine is the biggest downside of the Lancer & MIVEC will sort that out very well.

Off Topic :
Education Cess my friend is an innovative way of getting Honest Tax Paying Citizens to pay more tax than they already pay. Something like the Gulf War Cess on Petrol / Diesel. The Gulf war......imagine

@vid : Why dont you find a good private workshop? Your lancers obviously out of warranty and a competent privateer will give you the required level of service.

yeah that's what i need now. to hunt for a private garage with all the facilities.

Since now i have spent 20K with these fools may as well get all this sorted out with them without paying them a single penny.

Anyways the car is going back again tomorrow to get the gear vibration sorted out. I took it for a spin yesterday late night to see the brakes and found them to be really bad the entire car vibrates when you dab the brakes at a higher speed like a pulsating sensation. the brakes have definitely not been sorted out properly.

no dude I couldnt go today as I would have to miss another day of work. I ended up missing yesterday cause of them.

I'm taking the car first thing in the morning. in the mean time have also a nasty mail to HM chennai. I'm trying to get hold of the HM bangalore representative who is in charge of the service centres and audits them to see my car personally.

I've sent an email earlier and it worked. The HM rep here got in touch with me immediately by phone. Now the guy is changed so dont have his contact else would have blasted him directly.

Will be going tomorrow at 9am. sure you can tag along. you can see a whole zoo of baboons here.

Best part is they service ambys, scorpios, contessa, bolero, lancer, pajero all under one roof. there is utter chaos with all these running around.

Hey Vid

Not nice to hear all this chaos AFTER changing the rotors & the pads. Surely they have not done the job right. Normally if one changes the whole thing like you did, the brakes should be as good as new. Hope this gets sorted out.....soon
