Re: Hyundai Eon: 3 years & 60,000 kms

To all Eon owners reading this (and car experts in general)

I may be picking up a used Eon:
- 2013 model
- 75k kilometers already run
- owner selling for 2.3 lakh
- buying directly from the 2nd owner
- no service history available

I have some questions:

1. What should I look for when evaluating the car?
2. Any known issues that I should be paying attention to?
3. Is a 11-year-old Eon even worth buying?
4. Has it run way too many kilometers already, according to you?
5. Is 2.3 lakh a fair price to pay for a 11yo Eon?? Or is he over-charging?

This will be a secondary car driven by the folks for their milk runs. It will most likely not see a lot of highway drives. Just sub-5-km runs.

The car will have only 2 occupants most of the time. And hardly any luggage at all.

How would you react to this proposition? What's your opinion on what I should do.
