32) Longer USB cable consealed from charging port to the Navigator(routed through the A pillar-ceiling-drop down behind the IRVM to reach the Navigator).
Can you show the complete setup on how you have routed the wire starting from the Charging Point?
Also, how long is the USB Cable and doesn't it lose its charging capacity over the long distance.

Can I ask for F.E. figures on full tank to full tank method, as that is more trustworthy than MID ?

Nice to see you here Venu sir.

The MID of ecosport is surprisingly accurate.

Anyway the tank full to full method gives me 14 to 16 kmpl (mixed.)
Exclusive highway tank to tank gave me around 19kmpl(RPM around 2000 in 5th gear)

Lovely car and review Dr. Kumar Saab.

Absolutely brilliant headlamps with good view and spread. The beam is flat and should not trouble the oncoming traffic.

Can I know what that Turbo whistle is? Is it placed in the silencer?

Finally you get the OBD II reader. Will wait for more pictures from you on the OBD front.

Anurag.

Charging point in the centre console-from one side it can conseal and reach front-centre of both footwells-under the dash-below the A pillar cover-roof-tuck it in till you reach the centre-drop down from centre.

I bought a 12 foot cable from Amazon.

I am using a Vorit charger as seen in previous posts and it works perfectly for my Galaxy note 3, Note 10.1 and Map my India navigator.

I was not really a fan of Ecosport but, having the pleasure of driving with you during one of the Hyderabad TBHP meet. I have become one as your car was literally flying. Not sure if its the car or the driver which made it possible.
Great job on this review and keep updating the thread !!!
Thanks Avi, I totally agree with you that the driver is more important than the car.

Ecosport is a good car but not as good as my Civic if you compare outright performance.
Nevertheless Ecosport fulfilled all the purposes we were looking for.

Hi Anurag,

Just received the OBD reader recently, thanks for all your input.

Turbo whistle works on the principles of a regular whistle and is placed at the tip of the exhaust. It basically simulates the turbocharger's sound and starts around 1800 RPM

Will show it to you on our 26th meet and drive

I'm curious to know, does the turbo whistle work as it's supposed to?
Do you remove it during casual runs or its a permanent fixture?

Answering this on behalf of Dr. Kumar Saab.

Working would be as desired else it would not have been on the silencer pipe still!

Regarding the usage I am sure it is bolted on till it lasts. It is just a screw that is tightened onto the tail pipe to prevent it from falling off. No welding or drilling needed.

Anurag.

I looked up a video of it on YouTube and it sounds exactly like a sticking disc pad issue I had a few months ago
Still pretty badass though.Should bolt it onto a nano, then maybe it's sales charts would see changes, hopefully not downwards.

Absolutely works createrkid. It also produces two hifferent tones for acceleration and deceleration.
I have had it since 3 months now, its a bolt on as Anurag said.

It can be removed and refitted, hardly takes 5 minutes

Is the sound audible with the windows rolled up or you have to keep your head out to listen?

Does the Civic to have one?

Anurag.

Its a very mild sweet whoosh and it is audible with the windows rolled up, but not in a disturbing way.

I don't have it on my Civic.
