Aah, that explains it. I am around 5' 11". My son wasnt happy with me pushing back the seat during our TD. Effectively that was it for me, though I liked the rest of the car. I wanted to consider the Fiesta too, but at the time there was too much of a grey area about the new/ classic etc.

Congrats on the Figo (A VFM car in the segment). The diamond white looks nice with the already blackened feel to the head lamps.

By the way would you post the pics of the interiors of the car.

Do enjoy many more happy miles with the Figo.

Headlamps definitely need to be upgraded if you are on the highways. I guess 90/100 would do the trick. Congrats on your new car.

I am a proud owner of a figo myself. Good fuel efficiency, handling. The ford alloys are decent enough.

Thank you. Headlamp is not a problem to me for now as i am driving only within city and i use fog lamps. Also i limit my highway drives during day time, so Changing headlamp is not in my priority list now. But i like the 'white' ones , will check that option when i am doing this change...

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Done the first tank full yesterday.

Trip Meter - 452 KM
Fuel filled - 31 Ltr
Mileage - 14.58

Driving condition is daily commute to office with a/c always on. Not a bumper to bumper city traffic, but a typical city suburb traffic (from East Tambaram to Sholinganallur).

Congratulations for your new Figo. Hope you are having wonderful time with it.
Very soon I will be joining you and other happy group of Figo owners. I just booked a black Titanium Diesel. Like you i am also graduating from WagonR petrol to diesel. Are there any specific issues to be checked before taking delivery?

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Done the 2nd tank full yesterday. Mileage increased (it includes 50KM of high way driving and half an hour of idling with AC when i was waiting for relative in the bus stand). Other driving conditions are similar to the previous post.

ODO - 1032
Trip - 497
Fuel - 31.30 Ltr
Mileage - 15.8 per ltr

DTE (after fueling) 656. I forgot to note down the DTE before fueling, but on an average i found DTE + Tip is around 650 most of the time.

The smoothness increased after around 700 KMs. I am still driving between 1500 to 2000 rpm most of the time and plan to continue till the first service. Touched maximum of 100 KM speed for a short period during the highway drive. Don't have any issue so far.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

Have done two tank fills and the mileage is consistent at around 15 kmpl. Haven't seen any significant change after tyre upgrade. But there could be some drop in mileage as there was a drop in temperature in Chennai for the last one month, but it doesn't increase the mileage.

The ODO is 2350 now and will be giving the car for first service this week.

The tyre upgrade helped in reduced number of bottom scrapes.

The alloys look super cool. I myself own a figo ZXI. Though a little late but wish you many happy and safe miles. Do post some interior pictures also. Have you completed your first servicing? What accessories you have planned to install.

Re: My new Ford Figo TDCi Titanium - Diamond White

A new figo on the forum after a long time! Congrats! Sure looks hot after the alloy upgrade. Any plans on getting sunfilms?

Just a suggestion, please lose all the dealership/comapny stickers, they spoil the looks.

I think you meant Air bags here.
