We still are in the US but are in the process of moving over to Chennai after staying here for sixteen years. I am just getting into the world of Indian cars.

We had never owned the popular Indian luxury cars (e.g. Sonata, Accord, Nissan) but have very high regard for these brand names. Our cars have been Infinitis and now Acura. They are very similar to the Nissans and Hondas in the engine configuration.

Our current car is a six speed stick shift Acura and sports the NSX engine. We will probably miss it but India seems to have so much more to offer now than the 800s and Ambassadors that we had when we grew up.

This forum is very informative.

hey dude

welcome to tbhp and im sure youll enjoy your stay here as well as in india.yeah as you said now theres a lot more than 800's and ambassadors.we got skodas and Vtecs etc.you sure will miss your car but once you come here and get the right car...you wont miss your old one !!

Hey dude, welcome to team-bhp. Yea i agree, its not just amby's and 800's anymore..so i'm sure u'll be able to choose the crite car for u and the indian roads

Welcome to the Team VWBugy. Which Acura has an NSX engine, except for the NSX itself?

The Acura TL also uses a 3.2L 270 hp engine. Maybe thats the one.

Welcome to Team BHP and also on moving back to India.
Trust me there is a whole bunch of new cars which are available in India , and one look at the new Ambassador , might even change your mind and you JUST MIGHT end up picking one for your self ....

But yeah you will surely miss the cars what you drove there , but you said , you are moving back to India after 16 years , so that should allow you to get cars on TR . its a thaught ....
