Team-BHP rocks. I am really amused by the activity in this form and being a car fanatic, feel bad not to be associated with this community till date. Here I am to share my views and experiences.

I am about to order a Hyundai Accent GLE after test driving Esteem, IKon, Getz and Indigo. I didn't try out Baleno as I didn't like its look in the first place (Baleno fans, nothing offending. Just my personal taste)..

I currently have a Santro Xing and was previously having a Santro LE.. so you can pretty much say that we are a Hyundai family..

Have seen some reviews on Accent and found nothing too very bothering... Simply said, I fell for its looks (I also liked IKon but 1.6 is getting phased out due to the arrival of Fiesta next month).. Though Accent doesn't match the performance of IKon, its interiors and comfort are good.. I'll post photos of my existing Santro Xing in a short time..

Well folks hoping to be of some service to the community...

btw, I am planning to go for Alloys and Tubeless... Heard Tornado comes with R14.... does anyone have the exact spec for a 14" alloy.. Should 185/60-14" be fine ??

BTW The Ikon is more comfortable front and back. The rear seat of the Ikon is its asset, with a very good and "high" position. The Accents rear bench reminds me of the Esteem. Its too low and cramped.

Thanks for your welcome message. I'll post more pictures of my Accent once I touch it.... And GTO, regarding the Ikon as I said, 1.6 is getting phased out.. Rs.80,000/- slashed straight today. Fiesta is coming next month.. Also heard 1.6 doesn't have much of a resale value (as do other ford cars as far as I know)...

So settling for Accent for the moment... I am known to changing cars pretty frequently. so... lets see..THanks for your views anyway...

Hai Sathish,

Congrats on your decision.

While researching for a car I considered the GLE. Its a good looking car and improved interiors with a relatively lower price tag.

Did you check out the milage ?

well, about ur car choice...if u're going in for the accent, why dont u wait till jan and pick up the 2006 model ...the car has got a total facelift in exteriors as well as the interiors. plus u would definitely get a better resale value since you tend to change cars often.

anyways, hoping to meet u soon.

Your cars look quite well maintained.
The Accent GLE is quite a good buy and the tyres on the GTX Tornado are 185/60R14 but you can try 195/55R14 Goodyear Eagles or Potenza G3s.
Both will improve the handling.
