Your cars look quite well maintained.
The Accent GLE is quite a good buy and the tyres on the GTX Tornado are 185/60R14 but you can try 195/55R14 Goodyear Eagles or Potenza G3s.
Both will improve the handling.
Thanks for the message Lamborghini (btw, Lamborghini was a fun to drive car in Need For Speed I).. Thanks for the spec.. Do any of you have experience with Yokohama tubeless ? I was advised with this company by the Alloy wheel vendor.. I think I'll go with 185/60 14".. Will be going to the showroom to choose the color today :-)

hmm.. had a visit to the showroom and chose the recently introduced "Real Earth" color... sad news is, this color is in demand and its going to take a minimum of 10 days for delivery :-(.. Going to be tough time to just sit and dream till then .

The correct tyre upsize is "185/65/R14". Our fellow team-bhpian "Drifter" used the same profile in his Accent CRDi. Get your delivery handwritten to threaten the dealer in case he delays the delivery too much.

Sorry if i have typed the above in the Introduction section.

Krish, pls do continue the accent discussion in a new thread in the apt section of the forum.

The correct upsize is 185/60/R14. I just confirmed with ACI.
Yokohama's are good but we haven't used them but i think Samurai's aleno and Iceman's Baleno had them and they were quite happy.
Try getting goodyear Eagle F1's or Bridgestone Potenza.
You can post your accent tires in the modifications and accesories section under the tire section.

Hi, Are you fitting tubeless tires? People say that we dont have proper service upcountry in case of flat tires (for tubeless tires) . By the way, it shouldnt be a spot of bother if you dont go for such long drives often.
I used to go for long drives often and the only the problem i faced was flat tyres. Believe me, I once had a puncture on my way back from trichy on a sunday evening. I changed my stepney and went to a roadside puncture walla to fix it. He said I had to replace the tube and I knew the stepney was also not in good shape. To buy a new tube for my indica i had to travel for 100kms to villupuram. I took that risk as i had no other choice. I went past a couple MRF tyre dealers but they were either closed or dint carry the tube i was looking for. Eventually found a dealer and had to fit some local tube. Be careful in making your choice. Check twice before you decide.

Welcome!

There used to be a hoarding on the ECR that said - Chennai moves on Maruti. I've always felt it was Hyundai (since 1999) and you're testimony to that.

hi Bob, i completely agree with you. i personally feel back seat of accent is too low for comfort, and it toally lacks thigh support. marina or an indigo is far far better on this front.
