Happy to be part of the Team-BHP tribe

Hello fellow bhp-ian's,

I am Hari Shetty and like a lot of other members here, i too belong to the IT clan. I was born in Mangalore and had the good fortune of being exposed to a fair number of the infinite cultures and customs that epitomizes this great country, all thanks to my dad's profession as a banker.

Bangalore has been my base for the last 7 years and i too have been a mute spectator to the morbid transformation this city is going through. All the same, the city still packs a punch and I am happy to be here than anywhere else on this planet.

I stumbled upon team-bhp while I was researching on my next set of wheels and discovered that this site was a treasure trove for any auto enthusiast. I managed to strike a good bargain with the dealer thanks to the invaluable tips provided in the team-bhp forums.

I am a novice when it comes to the technicalities of Automobiles and I will not harp on that front. It suffices for me know what is a good car in the market and what features are there.

I recently (Jan 2010) traded my 2005 WagonR for an i20 Asta and so far it’s been a great Car to drive. Apart from switching to after market alloys, I went in for 3M RE-35 sunfilm on the sides, FilmPro on the Windshield, Bosh Horns (the ones on the Skoda), Speedo Seat covers and Philips X-Treme Power H4 (12v, 60/55w) Head Lights. I am also planning to replace the stock filters with K&N Performance filters, replace the existing Antenna with a working shark-fin type and also fit a rear wind spoiler.

I do not have the $$$ to own multiple sets of wheels, so the main reason for joining the team-bhp brigade was the section on travelogues. You see, I am travel freak too and even reading travelogues makes me feel I am on vacation. I have read several of them already and eagerly wait for new ones to be posted. I believe this is where you will find me most.

Again, happy to be part of the team-bhp tribe

cheers,
Hari Shetty

Nice set of wheels you got there. Welcome aboard. There are many here who don't have the $$$. They are here for the same reasons like you too!

@zteg - ou transalation yenku agaytya ijji (i dont require translation from Tulu to English) andla Moderator aklege doubt bariyara balli (only thing is we don't want the moderator guessing what was posted )

@praeekm - i dont have a picture and i don't think its going to add value (i am a bad photographer) The lighting is a tad better and nothing fancy. Its more useful on highways. I wanted to go in for Xeons but there is no projector option like we have in swift. So i decided to go with the x-treme ones until the projector option is avaliable.
