Hello Road-trip lovers!

I am Irfan....an avid road trip lover. Just to give an example....since 2004 when I purchased the current car I have, a Tata Indigo Marina, I have travelled around 43,000 kms on road trips and only 6,000 kms in city drive. I also love biking and mostly ride to work (I work with BACI - Bank of America Continuum India - Hyderabad).

I have such passion for driving and road trips that I once drove from Hyderabad (where I am based) to Manali, around 2100 kms...and right upto Rohtang and back...the whole trip around 4600 kms up and down (some think I am crazy-maybe I am-road trip travel crazy).

I also did
1.Delhi (while I was based there for a while)-Jaipur-Ajmer-Pushkar-Bharatpur-Fatehpursikri-Agra-Delhi
2. Delhi-Pathankot-Udhampur-Dalhousie-McLeodgang-Chandigarh-Delhi.
3. Delhi-Mussourie-the 4 prayags and back to Delhi
4. Hyd-Bangalore-Coimbatore-Munnar-Kodaikanal-Bangalore-Hyd.
5. Hyd-Mumbai-Aurangabad-Hyd.
6. Hyd-Goa-Hyd
7. Hyd-Mahableshwar-Pune-Mumbai-Hyd
8. Multiple Hyd-Mum trips

I plan to share all these experiences, pics, stories with you and learn new things in return.

Warm regards,
Irfan

Wow! Another Techie (I am assuming here) who loves his cars. Welcome Home.
So Irfan, are you more of a biker or are you a predominantly car-person?

Car person....but love bikes equally

I love bikes but since Hyderabad doesnt have any good weekend getaways, it is tiresome to ride to places. Hence normally drive on my road trips as they are more comfortable and I can take more stuff with me. I am planning to buy an SUV soon though....maybe a Tata Safari. Lets see.
