Hi BHPians,

I am Karthik from Bangalore. An electrical engineer by qualification, a software engineer by profession and a grease monkey by interest. My first car is a 2007 Maruti 800 MPFI which was gifted to me by my parents (for graduating in B.E with a state rank).

Whereas my first bike is a 1983 TVS 50 XL, which after some mods is doing speeds in excess of 110kmph. Yes you read it right, the drag spec moped that you might have come across in the 2-wheeler thread, thanks Speedy_racer for posting it up there, my dad who used to ride it back in those days couldnt believe the speeds it is currently doing . I also own a 2003 130cc Victor GL and a 2008 R15 (I call it T165, as it has a 165cc bore now), all Indian big bore bikes

I have been browsing through T-BHP quite a lot and appreciate every bit of it, be it restoration or engine swaps. Thanks to moderators( for approving my access), now I can actively share ideas and meet like minded people.

I race RC nitro cars, fly RC helis and have done quite a bit of road racing starting from R15 championships to CBF stunner cups , drag, hill climb and one very uneventful TVS apache race.

Posting some pics of my rides. Looking forward to a knowledge enrichening experience.

only a die-hard grease monkey (like you introduced yourself)
will do that thing to a TVS moped
