Hi,

This is Parikshith from Bangalore. I am absolutly in love with cars and bikes. I currently own a Suzuki Fiero (2000) and a Ford Ikon CLXI 1.3 (2003). For eight years my bike has remained stock except for a change to bigger tyres, love the way it is and dont see any reason why I would ever sell it.

On the other hand I have slowly tweaking the car to get the most out of it. I hvae invested in a fairly decent ICE system and recently had 14 inch alloys put it, absolutle love the ride now. Eventually I would like to do an engine swap, still trying to figure out which would be the best option and how much it would cost

.

Love to take the car out for a spin any chance I get with my fav metal bands giving me company. I am here to swap stories and figure out the best way by which my car reflects my personality.

Hi Parik_ind and welcome to the forum. Here you will find a lot of like minded people with whom you can share your interests regarding cars...and other things.

Nice Intro. Please go through the forum rules to familiarise yourself.

IMHO, i think you should leave your car he way it is. Yes there are many options, including the most sane and trouble free option of swapping your engine with a 1.6 Rocam but its not so easy. I like your attitude. Take it easy and attend to your dreams, one thing at a time. Engine swaps are not the most easy of things t do. They come with their share of headaches and heartaches (not to mention aches in your wallet).

Tweak your 1.3 engine itself. Go for headers and a port polish job and then if you still want more get the head shaved, though slightly. Still want more?? (and petrols got cheaper) Get your throttle body enlarged. More....just get a car with a bigger engine and re start what you did to this one.
