| BHPian  | Hi Guys Just a short message to say "Hello" to all you guys out there. I have been mad about cars since I was about 9 years old when my Dad got his first car - an Amby. This was also the car on which I first learnt to drive - at 14 years old - unsuccessfully!!!  Really started driving a few years later (legally) on a Premier Padmini. Soon "graduated" to a Maruti High Roof Van in 1985 and then went on to a Gypsy, Sumo, Gypsy King, 800, Santro, Qualis, Esteem, Wagon R etc. Presently own a Swift Zxi 2006, a new Wagon R Vxi 2008 and a Zen Lxi 2004. I love driving and have done some fairly long drives around India : Bombay to KanyaKumari and back in the Gypsy. Bombay to Manali and back in the Gypsy King. Great road trips, with my wife and kids, which I will never forget. Having done most of my driving in Maruti's, I have a lot of faith in them. I am in the Merchant Navy and spend at least 6 months out of the country. When in town, I am at Lokhandwala, Andheri(W), Bombay where I have lived for the last 20 odd years.
