Hi guys,

I just joined this forum and here are a few details about me:

I am 43, an avid lover of touring, nature and ofcourse photography. I love touring on bikes. I own a 1987 Yezdi CL II and a 2006 Avenger. Did own a Bullet for a short while, but never fell in love with it. For a living, what else?? Another Bangalore based Sofware engineer.....

Lived in Australia for a while.. Vehicles owned in Australia:

Harley Davidson Sportster V Twin 883
Mitsubishi Colt 1992
BMW 323i 1997

Now back in India for good (Bought the Avenger on return). Now decided to get a car, so I can tour with the family...

Just booked a black Palio 1.1 SLX... Thanks to all the reviews on this forum...Was very tempted to get a 1.6 Sport, but with 70% city driving and 30% highway, settled for the SLX...

The dealer promised delivery in 2 weeks...Waiting with bated breath....

Welcome aboard! I am new here as well.

the 323i was a really sweet ride. I love the BMW straight six engines. How did you like the 883 sportster? A relative of mine had a 1200 and it was very nice. he now rides a Vulcan 2000 and I don't like that one as much. Both are a bit primitive though.

Thanks. I was in Sydney. Worked in North Sydney and used to live in Paramatta/Merrylands.

Good to know you drive a Palio too.

Cool, I was put up in Chippendale, near Broadway & was working in Martin place.

Nice to meet another Sydney-sider (former I guess).
