hi all!!
my self Kishore. myself an engineer with one of indias leading auto companies (i refrain from namin the comp, since then u wud consider me prejudiced).
a had core car nut...

mmmm Previous cars...in chronological order
1995 Maruti zen 107000 kms-sold
1995 Maruti 800 64000 kms
1997 Fiat Uno petrol 134000 kms-sold :-( miss u dear
1986 Maruti 800 120000 kms-a gem of a car-gifted to cousin
1998 Maruti Zen diesel 85000 kms-aahhhh my latest love...

Wish List: a peted Swift VDi ABS....oh me gosh!!!!!

off late i have been converted to a hard core DIESEL FAN,...the high revving TUD 5 motor has erased all my misconceptions regarding diesel run car.....
who says diesels aint fun to drive...
any hard core diesel fans in this forum????

TUD5 is a nice engine. had the zen D before all of this CRDI malarkey. I always thought it was faster in a straight line than the petrol zen. handling was pretty sad. but who cares? refuelling and the traffic light grand prix made up for everything

By the way,was'nt it the TUD5 also in the premier padmini diesel? had one of those too.

bullet proof engine that. enjoy it while u can, looks like you'll be shifting to the multijet soon

Not that I remember. It was always sold in the Peugeot 309 only. Must be an experiment car that you saw.

TUD 5 engine used to feature in the Peugeot 309 gld; the Accent GLS and the esteem D as well
