I am gasoline and matches....I light angel wings with torches...

Hey guys am so happy to be here as part of this amazing forum dedicated to one of man's best creations .I have remained an anonymous spectator of this amazing website for past six months till i took a plunge to actually join you guys and be a part of it.Kudos to you guys for keeping this forum active, live and kicking.I have been reading almost all the threads doing rounds in team-bhp.Once when one of my managers was planning on a ford fiesta i was able to point him to the appropriate threads which highlighted the pros and cons of the car and the dealerships to stay away from.
About myself, i am a chip design professional working with an Mnc in Bangalore. In recent years i have developed a passion for automobiles.I had been owning a lancer Sfxi which i traded off recently and was looking for another vehicle when i chanced upon this forum. And believe me team-bhp has joined my list of things i am addicted to.And when i used to sit down with my friends for a drink...most of the discussions would be about some thread on team-bhp.
Apart from cars i love beer (though a bad combination) and i love music especially classic rock, thrash metal, blues and country. And think that was a pretty long introduction.Looking towards being an active member fingers crossed.
And below am quoting lyrics from a song from deep purple called highway star and dedicate it to team-bhp ians.

Nobody gonna take my car
Im gonna race it to the ground
Nobody gonna beat my car
Its gonna break the speed of sound
Oooh its a killing machine
Its got everything
Like a driving power big fat tyres
And everything

I love it and I need it
I bleed it yeah its a wild hurricane
Alright hold tight
Im a highway star

Thank you guys for all your well wishes and replies. So happy to see your replies.Currently i don't have a car.Was looking at couple of vehicles took test drives.Initially my plan was to to go for a sedan.Of the vehicles i test drove i found the Cedia the most interesting and VFM option. But then since i like long drives and like to carry a lot of people with me later on decided on an SUV. I considered the safari, scorpio and innova. But Scorpio got ruled out after a test drive and found it a little scary(no offence to any scorpio owners) and safari inspite of all it's little niggles was something i drooled upon. And after taking a test drive thought that this is the vehicle to go for.But then from team bhp had been following the safari 2.2 thread closely and decided to wait.Right now i travel by autorickshaw. Also picking up a bullet 350 1975 model today or tomorrow cos cant bear these auto people anymore. Also i thought bullet is a vehicle worth keeping for a lifetime.I own a pulsar 180 currently used by my brother
