Just stumbled upon...

Hi Everyone,

I've been hearing about TeamBHP for a while now through friends, but I was never really a car enthusiast, so I never really bothered checking it out.

I own a Santro Xing XS (2005 model), which I was planning on driving to Bangalore with a few friends sometime in October. I was doing a bit of research on Google for it when I got a link to Team BHP, where I found some excellent solutions and information that was practical instead of just... well... expensive.

So, well thanks to the people here, my interest in my car has just jumped new heights, and I doubt it would be as ignored any more.

You guys are doing great work here, and I really appreciate it.

Yep..I definitely am enjoying this place. Lot to learn... Just went through the art leather threads and ordered some Stanley-inspired seat covers for my car. I hope they turn out right.

Hi, the color of my santro is what Hyundai calls "Crimson Sage", basically a metallic deep red color. It's the red and black exterior of the car that inspired me to get the red and black interiors.

I got the whole thing done for Rs. 4450. This includes Seat covers, door trims (if that's what they're called), and steering wheel cover.

The name of the shop is Jai Car Glass & Accessories at Milan Subway. There are a lot of other shops around it that offer similar services, so I'd suggest you see where you get the best deal/quality.

There are also quite a few shops in Sion Koliwada that do this, but I haven't seen their work to vouch for them.

Hope that helped.
