Hello Everyone,

First of all thank you Moderators for approving my membership to this esteemed forum. Hopefully I am able to contribute here with detailed high quality ownership experiences and travelogues.

My name is Anup and I am from Mangaluru, Karnataka, I have been following Team-BHP for over a decade and have been addicted to the rich content being added everyday here, I have learnt a lot from Team-BHP over the years and the forum has made me an informed enthusiast.

My family owns the following cars currently and I am looking forward to add ownership reviews and experiences for the vehicles we have owned or driven extensively

1: 2023 Skoda Octavia L&K 2.0 TSI bought just over 2 months ago
2: 2008 Hyundai i10 1.2 Kappa Magna Manual bought new in January 2009

Following are the cars my family and I have owned in the past 20 years, With work taking me overseas for 3 stints, I have had the opportunity to drive and own multiple preowned vehicles

1: 1992 Maruti 800 bought new
2: 2000 Tata Indica DLE bought new
3: 2005 Honda Accord EXL V6 bought used in 2014
4: 2008 Honda Accord EXL V6 bought used in 2014 (the previous one was totalled in an accident, thankfully no injuries)
5: 2012 Acura TL 3.7 V6 SH- AWD bought used in 2017
6: 2015 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 Sport bought used in 2019
7: 2019 Ford Ecosport TDCI bought new (sold only 2 months back)

I am looking forward to interacting with fellow enthusiasts and continue to improve my automotive knowledge.

Welcome to the forum.

The Octavia 2.0 TFSI is a lovely car. It is or shall I say was one of the line D-segment sedans that took the battle to pseudo-SUVs. I have driven the 2.0 TFSI in the Tiguan and can only imagine how nice it would be in the Octavia.
