Hello BHPians

Hey BHPians,

This is Quadrant55, F1 fans will probably guess why I picked this username. Hop between Chennai and Hyderabad. Work in the financial sector.
Have been an avid reader of Team-BHP for a very long time but have never made the effort to register. Because I was unsure whether I would be able to put in the time or effort to contribute effectively.
But recently wanted to share some info(will start a new thread about it) which I felt would help other members and regular readers. So, sent the relevant info to share@team-bhp.com requesting the Admins/Mods to post it.

To my surprise, GTO responded prodding me to register.
My issue has always been the paucity of time but this time pushed myself to finish the registration and thankfully got approved.

Threads I loved and re-read multiple times include but are not limited to GTO's Civic & 530d, BhuvanPrasad's Civic, DrNaren's Scross, ItNerd's and Ajaypjayaraj Yeti threads.

Sincerely thank the admins/mods and hope to have interesting conversations.

Hi Quadrant55,

Welcome to Team-BHP!

Fellow F1 fan here. I don't think anyone would've predicted the 2022 F1 championship would be won with 4 races remaining. The way Ferrari started the season, it seemed like we would see a new driver take the crown this year. In the end, it was a well deserved victory for Max.

Glad to have you onboard and looking forward to interacting with you on the forum.

Cheers!

Hi TusharK,

Thank you for the welcome. And apologies for the super late reply.
This is what I meant when I said 'paucity of time' in my intro post.

Anyway, after the first couple of races it felt like a great battle was brewing. The way Charles and Max battled near the DRS detection points in Bahrain and Saudi was very exciting. But once Redbull got there aero updates and improved reliability it became a one horse race.

Hopefully next year will be better. Wish for a three-horse race with Merc and Ferrari improving.

See you around,

Thank You
Quadrant55

Re: Hello BHPians

F1 fan as well.

Was really hoping Ferrari would fight for the championship but Max and Redbull had their strategies and updates bang on target.

Next season, wish to be a triple header as Merc have shown improvements.

Ya, this year it became a bit boring after the summer break.
Hopefully it will be a much better next year with a three-way fight at the top. The mid-field battle should also be more exciting with Mclaren and Alpine improving. And with driver changes, Alonso to Aston and Oscar to Mclaren. Should be a cracker!
