Hi All,
To all the wonderful folks of TeamBHP...Salaam !
I have been going through the posts and other tidbits of this forum for the last two years as a passerby...and finally today decided to become a member !
Even before I take off...my thanks to all members of this forum from whom over the last two years I had been gathering facts silently in various issues and using it to my advantage...like at the service station !
I work in Mumbai as a senior professional in the IT industry and am extremely passinate about automobiles with special fondness for SUVs. Coming from an Army family the smell of diesel,petrol, canvass and other jeepy,jongai smells is what I grew up on...and hence the penchant for all things Jeepy...and SUVs.
I currently own,run and fawn over my Scorpio CRDe...and hope one day to own a Gurkha (if at all it comes out in the Indian market) or a Pajero (if at all I can one day set aside 21 Ls for it !)...
I enjoy driving and the outdoors and have been going around the countryside in my Scorp besides trying my hand at mountaineering and trekking whenever I can.
I look forward to learning more about automobiles here and contributing whatever I can to the group in the coming days !

Guderian ? After General Heinz Guderian (1888-1954) of Wehrmacht...one of the finest German army officers. A true professional soldier, who stood up to Adolph Hitler...and the architect of Blitzkrieg !
