Good Morning, Team-BHP

Good morning fellow BHPians,

Thank you for making me part of this team. I was born and brought up in a small town called Maligaon in Assam. Till college I used to ride a bicycle which was pretty much enough to cover my commuting needs. Later moved to Chennai for work. The lovely coastline of ECR was just perfect to compliment my first bought Honda Shine motorcycle. Never had much idea of automobiles but always adored desktop wallpapers and fancy cars in video games (NFS).

By profession I am a mango man(IT professional) and when there was a need to buy my first car I was glued to team-BHP for advice (review vlogs was not a thing back then). I have been driving a Hyundai i10 for past twelve years and am attached to it like an emotional idiot. Sometimes I call it a loyal dog or sometimes a black horse. The point is knowing that there are so many great cars out there I still love my car since it was always there with me through thick and thin. Soon I will be letting it go

and maybe that was more of a reason for me to join this community to share my experience with fellow readers.

Beside automobiles I am interested in emerging technologies, gadgets, good food and travel. Oh! and anime too

Good to see another guy from one of my favourite states Assam and currently residing in my most favourite Indian city Chennai.

Spent 7 fun years growing up at Sibsagar. Googled Maligaon and it seems to be close to Gauhati, from where we bought our 1st car (M800) in 1985 - there was just one dealer for all of Assam (Bimal Auto) and we took an overnight bus from Sibsagar to take delivery.
