Vanakkam to all Team BHPians from Siva residing in Chennai. Very happy to be a part of this group and looking forward to a meaningful contribution from my side.

I would like to list the vehicles owned by me:

Two wheelers:

1. Hero Majestic -moped- First vehicle. Probably was a 4th hand .Don't remember
2.TVS50- Without any papers
3. Suzuki Samurai -New with my own salary. Was very reliable.

Four Wheeler- Learnt to drive in an Amby with modified floor shift in a driving school.

1. Maruti 800- Third Hand- Drove approx 68,000km
2. Maruti Esteem -New-82,000 km
3. Fiesta Classic Diesel- New- 87,000 km -Still regret selling it
3. Honda City 2016 Petrol-New- Currently clocked 65,000 kms and going.

I have fallen in love with the Thar & seriously thinking of adding it. However, the news of imminent Suzuki Jimny launch is making me wait.
Would love your opinion- Should i wait for the Jimny or proceed with the Thar??

Thar vs Jimny is a topic I don't consider myself qualified enough to comment on.

Jimny would be considerably cheaper than Thar and since you have quite a few vehicles in your garage, a Jimny would make more financial sense (considering 4x4 use is occasional), for daily driving Thar provides better road manners !!

Welcome onboard Siva! Nice lineup of vehicles there.

Most of them proved to be quite important for their manufacturers.

You are well on track with whatever you pick next - Thar or Jimny
