Hello All,

Firstly, I would like to thank the moderators for reviewing and approving my membership. I did realise a day before my birthday that my membership has been approved - that's the icing on the cake.

I have been following team-bhp over a decade visit the forum atleast once a day to check out the new posts and any information that I could garner. It was my heart's desire to one day become a member and contribute to this forum in whatever way I can.Thanks again for approving my membership.

I have lived in Bangalore all my life and continue to do so and work for a MNC in the field of outsourcing.

Our vehichle ownership is listed below in the order of acquiring:
1) Bajaj 150 - pre-owned and bought in 1989
2) Bajaj Chetak - Brand new, bought in 1993
3) Maruti 800 - Brand new, bought in 1999
4) Bajaj Pulsar - Brand new, bought in 2004
5) Hyundai Getz - Brand new, bought in 2008
6) Alto k10 - Brand new, bought in 2012
7) Honda Activa - Brand new, bought in 2012
8) Elite i20 Asta O Diesel - Brand new, bought in 2019
9) Suzuki access - Brand new, bough in 2019

That's a small insight of the vehicles we have had and hope to be an active member of this forum, contributing as much as possible.

Interesting list of vehicles there, especially the Bajaj150. My Dad bought one new in 1972 (cost 3K then - petrol was Re1 a litre) which we had till 1996 when it was sold to a friend who used it for a few years and then gave to his BIL who unfortunately sold it to a scrap dealer.

It was the first 2-wheeler I had and had quite some fun with it in the mid-80s to mid-90s. Only issue was the FE which at it's lowest was 18kmpl (our '85 M800 had 20+ FE LOL). Then at Madras we got it rebored and when the FE went up to 30kmpl, I remember being estatic.
