Hello from Jamshedpur

Hi everyone! This introduction has been long overdue as I have been a member since 2014. I am a 29 year old person from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Currently I work with my father managing our family business.

I do not remember how I came across this forum but I knew i was hooked. I applied for a membership and got through quite instantly. Since then Team-BHP has been a permanent tab on my browser during work hours. Team-BHP is the filler my filler for those few minutes of idle item between work, sometimes it is the reason for zoning out for hours together.

I have been a fan of automobiles since childhood, I might have gotten the passion from my grandfather who was also into cars and owned quite a few of them during his days.

I believe that driving a slow car fast is more fun than driving a fast car slow, or it is better to be driving an Alto than being driven in a Fortuner. Although I aspire to own a BMW in my lifetime, I would be equally happy owning and driving a simpleton like Alto. Just being on the road with the machine is an exemplary feeling.

Re: Hello from Jamshedpur

Hi, I have been working in Jamshedpur since almost three years now (currently working from home in my home-town since March). Coincidentally, my room-mate from engineering days also belongs to Jamshedpur. I haven't explored much, but it is a nice place from my limited experience. Hopefully, we all BHPians in Jamshedpur can have a meet one day post this pandemic.

I could not agree more!

Re: Hello from Jamshedpur

Hi Researcher, Nice to know that there are other BHPians in Jamshedpur. I have hardly noticed other cars wearing the Team-BHP sticker. Do share your ride details so I can spot you on the street once you are back.

I did start a thread on a Jharkhand meet-up but very few participants showed interest for a possible January meet. Then this pandemic started.
Let's hope we can have a meet soon after Corona gets over.
