Seven attempts and I'm a BHPian!

Hello Mods - Thank you for approving my request, seventh time was lucky indeed.

Hello BHPians - As the title says my request was approved in the seventh attempt and there is no better time to have received the approval email.

So I recently moved to Sydney, have been actively looking for a job and been receiving a lot of sorry/automated responses to let me know that I haven't made it to the next round. That is when I receive the TeamBHP email approving my membership request. This is a breather in the otherwise tough times. (A screenshot of the approval email went up on my Instagram story as well).

I hail from the "Mod's Own Country" (Kerala), but I am not a mod freak. I like to keep my cars as stock as possible with only minor upgrades. My first car was a 2013 Ford Figo TDCi (Pete's Tuned), which had to be parted with when I moved overseas. Lot of memories with the car and it will always remain special. I sold it to one of my close friend who also has a sweet memory with the car - we went together to meet his then to-be wife, in the same car. They're now married and wanted to keep the car for reasons stated above. So it is still accessible and he is taking good care of it.
The other cars in the family are a 2013 VW Jetta TSi and a 1996 W124 E220. The 124 was picked up in 2017 with a genuine 14,xxx kms on board and is now at 25,xxx kms (Buying experience and ownership review will be posted soon).
I am yet to buy a car in Sydney, need to settle in first - but I've already decided what I'm buying when there is adequate Vitamin M.

Interests outside of automobiles are biking and sports. Sydney is a perfect place for everything outdoor and I love being here.

I look forward to be a part of this forum and meeting all the fellow enthusiasts.

Need to order that sticker set now and proudly have them pasted it in all my cars

Keep revvin'

Thats rate. Most of the KL guys I know end up doing some or the other tasteful mods. But yes, even a in a stock car, you guys keep in an excellent shape. This might be stereotyping, but yeah...

Wow, I'm a fan of older cars, especially the Mercs. Cars of those period are head-turners even today. Can't wait for an ownership thread!

By biking do you mean cycles or motorcycles - we do have active thread for both of them here on Team-BHP. Also, take a look at this thread (Any BHPians up for a meet in Australia?). Do read the forum rules once before you begin.
